Hi, all: Here is a link to a website with a digital collection of objects from 4,000+ museums. For me, it is immediately useful for the enjoyable, but lightweight, matter of pearl jewelry design, for others perhaps for more "serious" matters. In any event, if, for example, you search "pearl necklace," you get a gazillion hits from 3,000 B.C. until now. What a fantastic and FREE resource!
