Single Pearl Identification

Hello Pearl Forum team,

I procured this pearl from my mother's jewelry business (it was loose in a random box) and I am not sure what type of pearl it is. It measures approx 14-15mm. Thanks in advance.

It is probably a Tahitian pearl.

I do have some dyed freshwater pearls in that shape but their surface is not as good (it's typically inferior pearls that are dyed.)
