Hello, I am new to your pearl forum, and looking for some help id'ing pearls I purchased as my first post. I ordered them from The Real Real to have a restringing project, and the pictures are from the site. I can update with more pictures once I receive them and unstring them.
They are varying in color, and stated size of 6.5-8.0mm, 15" long, and a 14k clasp. Their valuation report didn't state if they were dyed or the type, but they were (probably over-) valued at ~$600, and stated to be in very good condition with no listed flaws. They don't look quite like dyed or natural baroque akoyas I have, and I've only ever seen "metallic" freshwater pearls. I can't tell if the pictures aren't great or if the nacre is wearing off or scratched.
Can anyone please tell me the type of them? Thank you in advance for your eyes and opinions!
