Possible fake clasp

Does anyone know if this looks like a genuine mm clasp?

Well, at least the Mikimoto logo looks good.
Don't know if the clasp does look like a Mikimoto made clasp.

As some others have said, the clasps can be changed as someone restrings. Since this is in Silver.... it could have been taken off a nicer strand where the owner wanted a gold or more decorative clasp, then this one was strung on lesser quality non-Mikimoto pearls. Or it could be a fake clasp... But it looks pretty crisp... I don't know if the s was usually under the M in this style.
