I think that’s right. I just like the look of those stacked pendants . . . but I’d probably be taking them off after an hour or two. Will come up with something else . . . sorta thinking they need little bead caps to add a little polish since they’re baroque already.

IMO that is overkill, in this size. And twice as heavy.

Here are my 12.6mm drops, bought from Rolay on Etsy (same vendor as Pearl Society on eBay). I have large ear lobes so I favor larger pearls for earrings. But two, stacked? Too much, even for me.

I'm peeping that necklace, Pearl Dreams. Are those South Sea Golden round pearls as well? Very nice!

No-- they're baroques. I actually prefer baroque shapes in SSP (fortunately for my wallet) -- I find them more interesting.

They're 10-12.5mm and strung on wire with silicone bead bumpers in between the pearls, and have a hidden clasp. This is my one of my most comfortable necklaces. (Clasps can tickle my neck if they have any scratchy parts).

Edited to add: I bought the necklace from Cees Van Oije of Amsterdam Pearls. He has an Instagram page in his name.
I also got these 2 near round 10.8mm pearls from him, which I had drilled and set locally:

What a stunner of a necklace! Earrings too. I too prefer baroque shapes for larger sized pearls. I think once they get past 10-11 mm, round pearls start to look a bit unbelievable/ludicrous.

MintyFresh, yes, I have that same feeling about large perfectly round pearls, too. I like the larger ones to have interesting shapes.
