Natural pearl rarities on sale

Today I was browsing the catalogue of one of the auction houses and found some interesting lots. As there are some genuine natural pearl lovers here, i wanted to share

1) Necklace with ORIENTal pearls, clasp YG 585/000, tested, approx. 1920s, 1 diamond navette approx. 0,30 ct Crystal/si surrounded of 14 total approx. 0.70 ct, 66 natural pearls and one cultured pearl diam. approx. 5.55 - 9.0 mm, white-l.cremecoloured, l. approx. 44 cm, with SSEF report No. 32093 March 1998

2) Natural pearl approximately 116.21 ct. Family-owned for over 65 years, unique, surface with yellowish green and bluish luster, button shaped, slightly oval, extraordinary, collectible, museum piece, 30 x19 x 16 mm

3) Natural pearl, Gulf of Persia, 545.63 ct, family owned for over 65 years, unique, extraordinary size, light greenish-purple color varying, dazzlingly shiny satin top, very lively with bright yellow and brown colorvariations, collectible item, museum piece

I cannot see much beauty in the last pearl, but it is indeed a curiosity considedring the size.
 
Great clasp on the necklace but oh my, that last pearl goes straight to the ugliest pearls thread.

I agree. What a beautiful pearl necklace and amazing 116.21 ct. pearl. But that last one is something only a mother could love. :) Still it would make a good museum piece. I am thinking it might even rival The Pearl of Allah in ugliness. Wonder what it would look like peeled back to a 100 ct pearl. Would have to be an improvement :) surely.
