Left over akoya pearls from a restringing job; a jeweler decided to leave those pearls out due to damaged nacre (that first picture is a doozy!) and length requirements.

I would die to have that jewelry box - gorgeous!!

Have we seen photos of the jewelry box open? Is it mahogany? and I just noticed the hinges/ clasps on the front look like an elongated cow's head from a distance.

I'll try to take more pics of the chest today, or soon. It is nice but i don't know anything about it. She had so many nice wooden boxes. i'll show you what i have around inside have a kid home with strep today - hoping it doesn't spread but not counting on it
