Can anyone help me to identify these pearls? Thanks!

You've got two strands of Chinese freshwater pearls. The black strand is dyed.

In the black strand I see some other colors like blue and purple - are the pre-necklace pearls dyed in separate batches (blue, black, purple) then combined into the necklace? or am I missing something else?

The base color of the untreated varies, so there is variation in the results even when a single color is used. White pearls aren't used. They only dye the pastel colors. Personally I've always preferred to have the tones mixed. I don't care for the look of a single-tone dye, especially when it's a striking or intense color.

Thank you all for your insight. I really am a novice at pearls. Does any one have an opinion on the value of the strands?

I wouldn't pay more than $15-20 for either, personally (new). Pre-owned, less.
