I found a pearl in my oyster!

Hey folks,

While I was making my way through a few buckets of oysters at the oysterfest in Atlanta this past weekend, I found a pearl inside of one of the oysters.

Please advise on the value of the stone or some of my options with it. Thanks in advance.

P.S.- please excuse my hand in the pic as I had just shucked through several oysters.

Looks like fun and your hand certainly doesn't look like you've been shucking oysters. Mine would be bleeding! The pearl is probably more of a curiosity than a jewel. If you think it looks interesting, try taking a close-up photo on a white paper towel. We'd appreciate a closer look. And welcome to Pearl Guide.

Thanks for the welcome folks. I took a few pics of the pearl; 2 on a black surface and 2 on a white sheet of paper. Please let me know what you think.
