I finally got some powerpro recently (thanks, Pattye!) but I can't seem to trim the ends for a nice clean edge without tearing the thread and making a mess. Thus far I've tried my little thread scissors (WOW no), regular scissors (worked the best, but still not good), and my really nice sheet metal shears (did not work at all). How do you all cut the thread without fraying the ends? I've got some pearls with small holes and the frayed ends just don't work well for threading them.

I used nail clippers but would have used a razor blade if I could have found one. I completely forgot about the box cutter which I have many of with new blades.

I've only strung one strand using PP and also used a utility knife. I pulled at the loose end while cutting near the pearl and it made a very clean and easy cut. Good luck!
