I purchased two presumably vintage pearl necklaces at an antique fair in North Carolina over the weekend, and would love any information on type/origin that can be provided from photos. Both are 19 inches in length, feel slightly gritty when rubbed together, and they're both graduated. They have slightly different coloring and different clasps. Both need a bath and restringing!
The clasp on one is marked 10k (with a symbol - possibly a P or O in a diamond). The smallest pearl is 3.785 mm, and the largest is 6.934 mm. I've marked photos of this necklace with "10K".
The second necklace is marked 14KG, and photos are marked "14K". The smallest pearl is 4.496 mm and the largest is 7.823 mm.
