Some nucleated FW pearls look well dodgy. To me, anyway. See this, for example:

That looks like a peanut pearl, maybe there is one nucleus and the nacre went rampant?

some call this gonade nucleated FWP Anderson, other Ming, other kasumigaUra-Like
meaning all same, but not, not not all have the flame structue. I have bought last time 2 month ago some neckaces where the middle was over 18mm (with nucleos) round, no flame structur, in natual colour......... will try to post a picuture next days.

On HSN Rarities by Carol Brodie is offering a 11.5-14.5 mm Freshwater Pearl necklace for 220. It looks nice from afar, but up close every pearl has a mar. There is a nice pink orient and the luster is nice. It looks very similar to the one being sold on JTV 11 - 13 mm for 300. Even the silver clasp is identical.
