drilled akoya pearls, 8,5 and 9mm

I have a a old akoya necklace with very nice clasp I would restring, and make a bit better quality, removing some smaller pearls (some have defects) and replacing for larger ones.
I wanted to know where to purchase some akoya, if possible someone on the forum?!
I would get a pair of fully drilled 8,5 and 9mm pearls.
The largest is just 9,5mm, but dropping to 8mm and I would prefer more progressive drop, I could remove 6 or 8 smaller pearls instead of .

The difficulty would be matching the colors. Older pearls tend to yellow over time.

You would need to send the necklace to someone who has a stock of old Akoya so that they can find a match. Which country are you in?

I paid less than 100€ for the necklace, so I can spend a bit of money to enhance it...

You could also watch charity shops, local house clearance auctions and other such places where jewellery tends to turn up.

but not easy to get the right size, color and shinyness.
For now I have 3 akoya strands, two are more cream, this one is more pinkish.
