Does this look dyed?

Had this old pearl in a jewelry box, it’s a gorgeous blue color and high reflection. It’s 6.5mm. Including closeups of the drill hole, any suggestions as to whether this is dyed or is this color natural?

If the bright blue color in the first photo is what you see with your eye, then I think it's likely dyed.

The color does not look natural to me. But the pearl is gorgeous!
