Today I stumbled across Tokerau Jim from the Cook Islands. He has moved to Kapiti New Zealand and was set up at the arts trail just down the road from my mother’s house. As soon as I walked in I knew I was in trouble! So many beautiful pearls and shell items to choose, he was even selling kids carved necklaces made from the mussel shell that he would then carve their names into - off course I got one each for the daughters and nieces/nephews
But my real find that I just saw and knew I had to have was this carved baroque pendant with turtles running around the edge of it. I am so in love!!!
