I want to ask questions about the reamer. What drill bit do I use? it came with three, the most thin tip. I just want to push the thread out. Do I hold the pearl in my finders in shallow water and use the bit? Will it make the hole larger? or Will it just chew up the silk?

I use the long, thin bit. The drill hole is made slightly larger, and the stuck thread is chewed up and comes out into the water along with the bits of nacre. You'll see the water get cloudy as the hole is widened.
Just do a very little at a time, checking often to see if the thread is gone. Poke a bit of beading wire or a wire needle through the hole to see if the obstruction is gone.
