Blue akoya or Tahitian

I’m having the most difficult time deciding on some new pearls. I’m debating between a keshi and Tahitian tin cup necklace, a blue akoya tin cup, or a baroque blue akoya strand. I rarely dress up so I’m looking for a casual look. I’ve been looking at Pearl Paradise and NaHoku for the BA tin cup.
I have a beautiful Tahitian drop pendant and a strand of white akoya pearls. My heart is screaming for the blue Akoyas, but I keep going back to the Tahitian tin cup and I can’t get both at this time.
Help a fellow pearl lover pit, please!

It depends on the strand! Tahitians come in so many different colors and shapes, so wait until you find one that really makes your heart sing. But Tahitians are always available As for BBA? I LOVE BBAs. But again, wait until you see a good strand that makes your heart sing. BBAs are not always available, so get good ones if you see them.

Is that the one you love most, or is it just the most affordable one, being the lowest priced one on that page?
This matters.
In my experience one should get what one most wants, or save for it. Otherwise it will be the one to replace.

No, that’s the only baroque they have and I used that as reference

If you're purchasing blue baroque Akoya, I recommend Pearl Paradise. I'd go for a strand, if budget is not an issue. There will be Mother's Day sales coming up, if you want to wait. I purchased my bbA from Pearl Paradise several years ago, not one regret.
Of your three (?) options, I'd listen to your heart. The heart wants what it wants.

I like the baroque one you posted, but the older I get, the more colorful and baroque I like my pearls. If you buy from PP, you can always return it if it doesn't make your heart sing when you see it in person. You can also do a video consultation and have them show you several online to compare them.

I’ve scheduled a video consultation to get a better look at all of them. Thanks for your input, truly appreciated and I’m a bit older and very casual so that’s important to me. The color and luster is key in making a decision

Just wanted to chime in that I would love to have a strand of blue baroque akoyas! I've been trying to look for one here in the Philippines but sadly haven't been able to find one. Customs are a pain to deal with so I haven't seriously considered buying from abroad. But if I can find a friend or relative in the US willing to carry a strand for me when they fly back home to the Philippines, I'd probably get one from Pearl Paradise! I saw their Tsushima Blues post on Instagram and would love to have that kind of blue pearls someday.

Absolutely stunning!

I think I bought that exact pair of blue studs from PP. They are insanely blue. Much more colorful than any other BBAs I have, or have ever seen.

Dreams!!!! Dreams! Although, my husband says I should find ones that match my eyes...such a sweetie, but I suspect a hint there somewhere?

Dreams for me too! I just watched the recording of the Pearl Paradise Tsushima Blues live event and I'm jealous of everyone who was able to buy those blue pearls 😩
