Ancient Pearls

Here are a couple of sites that have information on ancient pearls. This new thread is meant as a continuation of Caitlins posts on ancient pearl use in North America.

I really like the Field Museum first page where you can click on a pearl and a picture of the shell comes uup with a few facts. Perfect for the beginner.
