Hi, Beaders! Has anyone ever used a 3D printer to make beads or connectors or other findings? I'm curious how it might work and what sort of "filament" you used. Plastic would just be too tacky with pearls (though maybe I just lack imagination) but maybe resin? I understand that metal - or part metal - is also possible, though you need a special (possibly prohibitively expensive) printer. It would be quite cool to print unique bobs and bits for fun pieces of jewelry . . . whatever your mind comes up with . . .
