20mm pearls

I have this raw hank of pearls with knots in between them, no clasp, On average they measure 20mm across drill hole. They are very dense and feel like picking up rocks. The 40 pearl strand weighs a considerable 265 grams. They are gritty against teeth. Each pearl varies on the strand.

I don’t thin these are imitation as if they were glass they would weigh more., if they were resin they’d weigh much less.

Sorry, but the surface looks imitation to me. Is this the same strand as in your post from 2024? That was imitation.

In case anyone reads this thread later.... They are SHELL pearls...man made. Some of those have grit, when I rub them on my teeth. But they aren't quite right for how pearls grow. I was able to find these by using google lens.....(actually using google lens on a different strand that looked slightly "off" to me) and found this thread along with a company selling these.
