Hello. How are you today? đź‘‹. This is my 1st Post and I'm thrilled to have found you all. A couple of years ago I inherited some really nice Pearls and I don't know how much they are worth. I would love to hear some of the members opinions of what I have and if they are worth keeping...
I don't know much about them except that they are antique. The ones I'm showing have a gritty feel when rubbed together. They are in excellent condition with great luster and natural shine. The clasps work well and are either 14k gold or sterling silver. The long strand is a Rice Pearl with gold bead accents that have a Tiger's Eye bead in the center .

Welcome, Original Cindi! You do have some very pretty and wearable pearls, Pearls over 20 years old are considered "vintage" and over 100 years old would be antique.

The first long strand with the tiger eye appears to be mother of pearl beads instead of cultured pearls. The flat ends shown in the first photo are the clue. Other opinions?

The next 3 photos show cultured Chinese freshwater pearls in button or roundel shape ~ lovely luster, and will benefit from restringing and fresh French wire to replace what has tarnished.

The last 2 photos of the triple strand appear to be of round (or near round) cultured Chinese freshwater pearls rather than Japanese Akoya pearls. What a classic and always in style necklace! I'll be interested in our other members comments on this triple strand.

You can find similar sold items on ebay to get an estimate of resale value. Of course, the sentimental value is priceless.
