From the weight description given and the images they seem to be imitation pearls.

The images are very nice and the pearl necklace is elegant when worn. However, they appear to be rice pearls and not worth a lot today. If the clasp is not Karat Gold then i would suggest to wear them and enjoy them. Thanks

It is a gorgeous Pearl.. From the image the colour looks fantastic, the Lustre is rich and the shape is round. Would love to see what the finished piece of jewellery would look llike.

Hello Dzx, The strand does look like a lower quality from the pictures and are lacking in lustre from your Mikimoto quality. With a Marking of "BL" they do lean towards being from the less expensive Blue Lagoon range. Hope this helps.
