Peanut Pearls!

Wow, I am learning a lot about peanut pearls (and about snorting)! I added some of the alternative names to our ads, including Devotion Pearls (I like that one).

In the pictures so far, it looks like the preference is for the peanuts to be drilled through the middle, not through the ends. How right am I?

Would love to see a picture of one of those snowmen.

One thing for sure - anybody who creates a necklace using peanuts will be making "one-of-a-kind."

Barbie--

Are you thinking of PowerPro? I know Caitlin has said she uses that....

I just bought some green 20# PowerPro and am going to restring my 11-11.5mm black dyed CFWP necklace. The pearls are heavy and the thread I used before stretched out very quickly. Also I had strung it with 1 thread only, but now am going to double the threads so as to be able to seat the knots better.

Oops, hit the reply button too quick.

Yes, Doug, that's why I loved Cathy's "twins" so much. They look full, and "frothy", as she said, and not skimpy, like when they are strung lengthwise. I love mine!

Would have skipped any further digression, if it wasn't for THIS surprise! 'never know where these pearls might pop up these days. Do they look 'ancient' to you? LOL!

That was a nice store to browse in, Valeria! Some nice gemstone necklaces there.

Wow - Peanut Pearls on Rodeo Drive! Just like Cleopatra wore!
