Also, my first attempt at making jewelry in 20+ years. Haven’t learned to knot so here is a necklace of spinel and large and small freshwater Keshis (and teeny, weeny Karen Hill tribe silver beads) on bead wire. A little long for my height but everyone needs some swing in their life!

Yesterday's look was two freshadama strands that I combined, and metallic freshwater studs (with repurposed settings); all from Pearl Paradise.

Today, Vietnamese blue akoya necklace and studs from Pearlescence.

A golden SS pearl I chose from the last PP Ruckus from one of those special collection boxes. I had it set on a little h bail and I’m wearing it on a pearl chain from Kojima. Earrings I made with vintage seashells my friend’s father collected when he worked in the Marshall Islands, and a necklace I made with seashells I collected.

Jeg, once again a stunning combination of fashion and gorgeous pearls! I have been fixated lately on the combination of pearls and gemstones. I am not a huge fan of golden SSP as it doesn’t compliment my coloring so I don’t have many.

This is my latest project consisting of an off round golden SSP (Tucson Gem and Mineral show), fire opals (Etsy) and gold filled findings (Riogrande) and I am happy how it turned out. The bracelet is Baggins and is fun and casual.

Both of you have amazing wire wrapping skills with stunning pearls. Today I have 10mm Tahitians that were sourced several years ago from Jac on Etsy who no longer has a storefront. They were initially in a tin cup and I recently reworked them with a multicolored sapphire strand. The earrings are lovely cherry Tahitians from a vendor in Hawaii set in 14k finding from Riogrande.

Attempting to warp my loom slowly. Weaving is supposed to be good physical therapy. Wearing pearls and PJs while warping. Coral Atoll necklace and Bali earrings from Kamoka. Both the earrings and the necklace have large hooks, and I could put them on one-handed.

Golden SS strand and a mixed rope, both from Kojima. Worn with earrings I wire-wrapped. The abalone shell is from my uncle who would (hunt, harvest, fish???) for them back in the 50’s or 60’s.
