Does anyone know this makers mark? I’ve looked everywhere

I feel like we saw something like this mark recently on the forum but can't recall where.

If this mark is on an earring finding or clasp, it probably represents the company that made it, not the designer of the piece.

It’s a really common mark & I wish I knew what it meant!

Merlite.... The seemed to have been a mail order or catalogue store with jewelry. Older. They are usually really good pearls...often Akoyas. I like them better than IPS or /W/ which tend to be newer and usually freshwater.

They have knots in between and a maker's mark I don't recognize. Along with

585.
