amti, Gempacked has some stuff that is similar. Theirs are vermeil, I believe.

Gold Filled: I can't find any!

Vermeil:

Check out this page on Bellas Findings: https://www.bellafindings.com/jewel...em.asp?strSearch=oval+trigger+clasp&curPage=1

They also have round vermeil clasps with the same mechanism. In the search field on Bellas Findings, enter "Fancy vermeil springring clasp" (copy and paste it just that way).
And they have hammered-look round and oval clasps of this type, use search terms "vermeil hammer trigger clasp". This brings up yellow and rose gold.

Also this vermeil oval interlocking clasp set (with only one side opening)-- this looks like the same one as GemPacked is selling, but is on sale: https://www.bellafindings.com/29882/vermeil-22x18mm-oval-interlock-clasp.html

Gold-Plated Brass (not gold-filled):

FireMountainGems sells gold-plated brass (and other colors) "self closing clasps":
http://www.firemountaingems.com/shop/kwseptp120926clasp

Several Etsy sellers list those same clasps individually-- use search terms "self closing clasp"

Rio sells this gold plated brass hinged push clasp: https://www.riogrande.com/Product/brass-gold-plated-oval-hook-side-hinged-push-clasps/677924

Pearl Dreams, thank you for all the findings information and especially the links. It would have taken me endless Google searching to find that information.

Pearl dreams. Thank. LIke Amti I was looking for the orbit clasp in gold. Your links of Bella trigger clasp seems to be a great option .

I only wish they were gold filled instead of vermeil.

I believe the coating of gold over silver in vermeil is rather thin-- certainly a lot thinner than the 5% gold by weight in gold filled -- and I wonder how durable they are, especially on the part of the clasp that gets the most wear.

Internet hugs back, amti!

Like everything else you pays your money and takes what you get for it. Vermeil varies in quality. Some vermeil cannot even be sold in Europe as it has a layer of nickel. As Katbran says, quality varies, with some having a very thin layer of gold.
Good quality vermeil will last well - I have vermeil clasp on my own items which get a lot of wear and are fine after five + years. From my viewpoint here in the UK vermeil is all precious metal too while gold filled might be more gold by % but cannot be assayed and hallmarked.
