I can't justify my need for these pieces yet. Links are below.

Hi Kat, I think Lynn and Wendy do wire each and every bead.

I really do need new glasses, so my eyes picked out a spiral and followed it. It wasn't til Wendy said she didn't use a spiral, but wired until she got tired that I enlarged the photo and saw no spiral.

I'd like to try my spiral out sometime, but have no time right now (scraping paint, trying to beat the cold weather. Not having fun at the moment. Don't want to go out into the cold.).

Also, if you try either way to spiral(gems on before winding, or trying to put gems on after), remember Wendy said that plated and gold-filled wires (or Headpins) don't have as much 'play' or forgiveness as KT gold or sterling silver. She explained that because I asked for help after I broke a few gold-filled Headpins trying to get a bend to go the right way.

hi, IKnowNothing, thanks for those links!

More lovelies to yearn for, sigh. I love the look of twisted gold!

HA! Yes Lisa c I did wire wrap each and every bead onto a jump ring. I wanted the movement of the beads and the jump rings on the central wire between pearl and enhancer clasp. I have a low boredom threshold these days and only did five or six before wandering off to do something else. But was very pleased with the result.
I have a matched set of three big tahtians I will probably set the same way. When I can muster some enthusiasm...

I know what you mean! I finally tried counted cross-stitch after watching my sister do glorious work for years, and discovered I love the results but not the process. I might finish one tiny cross-stitch in my whole life.

Ooooookey. Wendy, I'm even more awestruck - 2mm:eek:!!!!!
Also, vermeil wire, or vermeil finding? or both?

This necklace is mine, all mine, with hedgehogs from my trip to Kojima and a few white keshi and faceted labradorites thrown in the mix. I keep coming back to this combination of white, silver, lavender and blue.

It's very beautiful Sarah, and it's great to read how you claim it !
I like the soft colors very much ... would love to see them on a white background

Beautiful! I love the colors.

Thank you! This paper isn't white, white, but it's more neutral than the other photo. Taking photos of pearls is one of the few things that will get me to venture outdoors in the freezing cold.

I love the combination of pearls and stones that you used in this piece, and the design is very cool! Enjoy!
