Hello Pearl Friends: I have received my pearls from Mexico. They were a little more subdued in colour than I expected. But now that I have been wearing them, their unique look is becoming apparent to me, and I am loving them. There are "green" earrings, and a "purple" pendant, with gold. The natural light outdoor photo makes them look so wonderful; the indoor picture not so much.
I have also included my other pearls; three on a silver bracelet: drop tahitian from French Polynesia, a white (probably freshwater) pearl, and my round Tahitian Zopiclone pearl (the one bought on Air Tahiti under the influence of a sleeping pill.) Also included are a pair of green Tahitian earrings with silver, also bought in FP.
I love viewing other PearlGuider's pictures here, so I hope these are enjoyable to view as well.
Linda.

hey Linda - they came through from Douglas then - wonderful !

I like the last photo, where you can really see the 'pomegranate' on the pendant (that's what I call the purpley-red-green on some SoCs !)

The Zopi Pearl sends me to sleep just looking at it

Thanks for posting them

Hi Pattye, yeah that silver chain is cool. Every second link opens up, so there is no actual "clasp". All those pearls are just pendants slipped on.
Alex: pomegranate is a good name for it because the surface is a little flat in spots too, so it has that shape as well.

Hooray for pearls!
Linda.

Alex: Wow, wow and wow. That centre pearl is amazing.

And in other amazing news; I received a new pearl today in the mail.
A lovely, simple round Tahitian on a chain from Sarah at Kojima Pearls.
What a delight she has been to deal with, and I hope to continue that relationship.
Cheers.
Linda.

Hehe! Blame it on the P-G'ers! Good idea! Don't those SoC pearls just screem to be posessed? I'm hearing them right now and it wont stop. Well enjoy, and let us know/see what you create with it!

And he'll say "can't you hang out with a better bunch of people?"
and you'll say "NO!" because it's the truth,

and he'd say (if he was from N.Y., USA) "If your friends jumped off the Brooklyn bridge, would you follow?"

And you'll say "Are pearls involved???"

Linda - your new tahitian is amazing

and I love the photo too, the green (grass?) in the background brings the pearl to life

what a lovely collection

Adeline - well, now you have gone and done it - there is no turning back you know...
