Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

BWeaves, I loved it there because I loved the beaches up north.

I was so fortunate to be able to spend some time with Mr. Seki at the Takahashi office while I was in Kobe. This is just a start of my purchases:cool:
A platinum ring set with baroque blue Akoya.

Mr. Seki also set aside a couple of their gold posts for me and kindly glued two sets of pearls I had purchased while on my pearl farm trip in November. A pair of faceted FW pearls from Komatsu Cutting factory, and a pair of seed pearl, pearls from The House of Keshi.

are you sure that's a finger ring and not a bunny ear ring? Either way, it's gorgeous, love the shape!

High quality, cultured akoya pearls. Earrings are Hanadama studs from Pearl Paradise. Top necklace was bought by my Mom when I was born. The pearls themselves are probably 70 years old. The middle necklace was bought by my Mom in the 1980s or 90s, so they are around 30 to 40 years old. The bottom strand are Blue Lagoon pearls that were a gift to my Aunt Love, but she never wore them. She sold them to me around 30 years ago. The luster tells you that these pearls all have thick pearl nacre. I love how these 3 necklaces nest together.

Love the new ring, JEG. Can't wait to see what you do with the loose pearls. The colors are lovely.

Golden South Sea pearls, with white and golden South Sea keshi as dangles on the necklace. My new Tahitian and South Sea pearl earrings from OceanRhyme. Pom de la Mer pendant and necklaces from Pearl Paradise and Takahashi Pearl.

Absolutely gorgeous. I love the SS dangle combo!

Thanks again to Hisano for fixing my long Kojima Tahitian keshi tin-cup necklace that I broke. The first clasp I picked (small orbit) really did not work when turning this long tin-cup into a double strand necklace. So I asked Hisano to replace it with a square push clasp that is designed for double strands, and it works better. It's what I should have picked to start with. Worn with my Jurassic Time Traveler carved Tahitian pearl and prehistoric shark's tooth pendant and Bali earrings from Kamoka.

Thanks Merrily- it could be either! ;)

It’s almost like having a new necklace, BWeaves. Glad the revision worked out for you!

An Akoya bracelet from Kojima, with a Tahitian and Tahitian keshi necklace I put together.
