The pearls of Hyderabad, the pearl city of India, are brought in from all over the world for the skilled artisans located there. The artisans are known for their unique designs and stringing skills and Hyderabad has large pearl bazaars where the pearls are sold.

The place is famous for its jewelry, but I do not know whether it is the source for any pearls. If so they would be freshwater pearls.
