Storage Question - pearl station necklaces.

My first post...... I've read all the threads and posts on storage. I have one question, I have several station necklaces. Can I hang them on the hooks in my jewelry box? Will that cause stress or damage? My strands, I store in folders or pouches. Thank you. Stephanie.

Are the necklaces wire wrapped? If so, they can certainly be hung. The reason not to hang pearl necklaces is that the silk gets stretched out.

They'll be fine. If you do decide to lay them down, fasten them and store individually in ziplocks. They will knot and tangle with reckless joy.

Thank you for the responses. Yes, they are all wire wrapped,and they do love to tangle if I keep them in regular pouches.

I have these pouches that come with little tabs that keep necklaces untangled. I use the smaller size for earrings.
