Hello, I'm new to the forum and completely inexperienced with natural pearls.
Greetings to all forum members, I'd like to ask if you could help me describe this pearl I found at a flea market.
The pearl is approximately 12 mm in diameter. What is its value?
Thank you.

I think it's something pretty to have on your desk.
I can't tell if the pearl formed attached to the shell or if it was glued on later. In any case, I don't think the pearl itself is valuable.

It's an akoya pearl which judging by the surrounding structure is definitely attached to the shell naturally.

It's a cultured pearl and the shell has been cleaned up at the edges.

Ornamental value only.

Lovely!!!! Natural pearls are "as found", while cultured involve humans. Most natural pearls are Not round. Akoyas are cultured.
