Hi Smithy, You have a strand of imitation pearls. Look closely around the holes to observe how the coating has built up and also places where the coating has flaked off to show the bead underneath. The clasp is interesting; is it marked in any way on the underside?

The stones in the clasp remind me of marcasite.

Thanks for posting such great photos! I a really working on ID in photos and I could tell by the first photo these were faux...but the other photos helped!!! I do like the clasp too!
