Please help! Are these SSP?

Hi everyone. I need help identifying if these pearls are SSP or not. A friend wants to sell it to me but i just wanna make sure what kind of pearls they are cause she has no idea too. It was given to her 8 years ago as she can remember and been kept. Here are the photos :

They look like freshwater pearls to me because of the button shape. And the flaws are typical freshwater pearl flaws.

I am curious about the color of these earrings. I have a pic of my freshwater pearl necklace beside the earrings. Can u please help me if the color is normal? Shes selling it for 100 dollars. Its in 14k gold. Is it worth it?

Some freshwater pearls are whiter and some are more cream colored.

I don't like the way they fit poorly into the cup of the finding. I find the blemishes distracting. And I do not care for the luster.

But I'm not the one considering buying them. If you like them enough to spend $100 on them, then buy them. Or else consider saving that $100 and putting the money toward better pearls.
