hi! i was gifted a pearl bracelet and am unsure of the value but feel it is rude to ask.
the measurement of the pearls on the bracelet are about 9mm, there’s no real indicator on the clasp about anything specific, it doesn’t have any markings besides cutouts
(was told it was freshwater pearls with a diamond clasp but would like to know for sure one way or the other)

Those are baroque freshwater pearls. Baroque freshwater pearls are the most common pearls; their value is low compared to other pearls, but they are all nacre and are very durable.

Given that the pearls are inexpensive and the clasp is apparently base metal, I think it's safe to assume those are not diamonds. Probably they are cubic zirconia (CZ).

Bottom line: this is a bracelet you don't have to worry about! Wear it and enjoy it.

I doubt the clasp is diamonds. Probably CZs, because the pearls are inexpensive freshwater pearls from China. The pearls probably cost between $10-$20 (I'm totally guessing but wanted to give you a feel for the cost since you asked). Enjoy the wearing the bracelet and don't worry about it.
