Hi all,

I was offered by a guy in Kupang, Indonesia with below pearls:

blue pearl open ring design in sterling silver and with two stunning blue/grey freshwater pearls.Belinda working away on our metal rolling mill.Rob and Belinda, Team Ringcraft Moana. Rob is a fully trained goldsmith with 40 years experience and

Quick question, I know the best solution is to send it to GIA Thailand but just from those photos can anyone determine it whether these pearls are natural or fresh water?

Many thanks, all!

I don't have much experience, but they look like South Sea pearls. They probably come from a farm what means that they are not natural...

They are south sea pearls. Possibly from Lombok or other islands of Indonesia. Lombok pearls, however, don't have the luster of ssps from other islands because of the sea water pollution.

Gents,

I have another question, does anyone here know what kind of pearls below?

They look like conch pearls to me. But yeah, the round one looks more like a melo-melo pearl.
