Mabes are so beautifully well suited for rings! Love your idea.
My SoC pearls have very different sharpness of lustre, the loose pearls have the most velvety sheen, while the mabe earrings are a bit sharper and the unset mabe is the crispest. To me it is easily "beautiful enough", even though it's "just" AA grading, 99 bucks. The colours in the top pic are completely off in this picture, and none of the rainbowy iridescence that all those exhibit is captured though...

I love those mabe' earrings, and that style usually isn't my thing. But those are really gorgeous.
