Loose tahitian pearl

I was offered this black tahitian pearl. The price is around 60 USD. Is it a good deal?
The size must be a little bit over 8mm I think. I don't think it's drilled.

I forgot to ask about this bracelet. 7.5mm pearls. They are gray blue? The seller says its saltwater. 18k wg clasp.

I see a dimple in the center front of the Tahitian pearl. I suppose one could drill there, but what does the rest of the pearl look like? If the vendor faced the best side up, the rest could be quite flawed. I'd definitely want to see more photos. Also consider what you would want to do with the pearl. 8m is not large.

The bracelet looks like semi-baroque akoyas. I can't tell if they're dyed or not, but the color is so matched that they could be dyed.

I was thinking to do a pendant or a ring, specially a ring. I'll ask for a picture of the other side.

You may want something really awesome for a ring or pendant rather than a random pearl you've been offered There is a lot of focus on a solitair - especaillay as a ring where you get to enjoy it all the time.

As for the bracelet, you can try look at blue Akoyas on the vendor's website to compare the color. I have two and my experience is that the color sort of shifts depneding on the light and the angle. And even though they are more silver than blue and have less pink flashes than I would have liked, the blue(ish) color is not uniform. If you wanted to make an bracelet with blue Akoya attractive, you would usually try to catch those pink flashes.
