Looking for pearl stores in Los Angeles

Hello everyone.
Does anyone know of any stores in the Los Angeles area where I could see and purchase high-quality freshwater and if possible saltwater pearl strands in person?

I’m looking for loose strands of pearls for jewelry making, rather than finished jewelry. I’ve been looking on Etsy, but it seems like many of the listings may come from the same Chinese supplier, and I’d really like to see the pearls in person before purchasing.

I’d appreciate any recommendations for local stores or suppliers where I could see different strands and compare the quality in person.

Sometimes I see freshwater pearls with an iridescent luster, and I think these creators look for this type of pearl in person. Seven Seas sells only finished necklaces, if I’m not mistaken. I’m looking for pearl strands for jewelry making.
