I really don't have any idea what these pearls' worth are. Will someone help me?

This is a pearl necklace my aunt gave me last year, and it's only now that I thought of finding what it's worth. I would like to sell it, but I really don't know anything yet. It does feel gritty against my teeth, so I thought, it's genuine.

Well, the ruler seems to be in millimeters, not inches, so these pearls would be cultured ringed freshwater pearls. Much smaller than South Sea, and unfortunately not as valuable as South Sea. You will find similar strands for sale on ebay for under $50.
