Dyed or natural Akoyas?

Sorry for the horrible photos! I can tell they are Akoyas, but they seem so uniform color... I am guessing dyed? I can usually tell dyed freshwater..there is always dye build-up somewhere. But these are harder. Any tips on telling dyed Akoyas

It's tricky to judge from a photo, but I think these are dyed. They're too dark. Are you sure they're Akoya? I have some freshwater pearls similar to these, very round, very blue (and I think mine are dyed).

Yup, Akoyas...the photo is giving them a weird oval shape.

I wasn't thinking so much about shape; to me, they don't have Akoya luster. But like I said, it's tricky with a photo.

They are very uniform and dark...I think they are dyed.
Sometimes you can see accumulations of dye in blemishes.

Probably dye, I don't think irradiation (harmless) results in this dark shade.
