In the current edition of Colored Stone magazine, there are very interesting articles relating to pearls. One is on Lake Biwa and the Biwa pearl industry today; the other is about global warming and the ramifications to pearl cultivation.
Also, in another article. there are pictures of natural pearls set in jewelry. Two of the pictures are from Pearl Paradise.
