I was reading my daily Wall Street Journal and saw an advertisement for an estate sale auction at Doyle New York (www.doyleny.com). There were some fun pearl entries in there that I thought you might like to see (and if you buy something, tell us about it!). I tried to hyperlink to each page in the auction catalog but it does not work from an external URL. If you want to find them, these are all in the first 60 pages or so (I got bored clicking through at that point).

John,

Thanks, always great fun to shop. Wasn't too inspired here, but I did put together some 'quick picks' from the pearl selections. The 1890s seed pearl rope could be a good gamble, definitely like the Tahitian baroques w/diamonds, and the amethyst cameo and carved coral pieces are singular and colorful?

Wow guys, they are all pretty awesome. Love the golden eagle - as a curio only - and the torsade. Also the amethyst cameo - but mostly the tahitians with diamonds. I just keep seeing more ways I want to wear Tahitians...
