Can someone please identify these are the south sea pearls? The price is very affordable.. around $1000 for south sea pearl necklace - white, lustrous and round..
I see rainbow band on most of the pearls though..

Others will surely comment and I can't comment on the pictures but $1000 for SSP of that shape and size sounds too cheap. I wouldn't dare to buy them. I recommend you compare prices with reputable online shops mentioned on the forum.
Yeah it sounds too good to be true right? I was excited at first but then I thought I should check first with the South Sea pearls fan here..

My limit experience is that I want an Etsy shop that sells me the EXACT necklace that I am getting (In my case it was 3 pearls..so much cheaper!) I got those pearls and they were IMO NOTHING like the photo! So if the shop numbers the necklaces or strands & has good feedback..order earrings or something small first...you might like them but they might not be what they say...you haven't invested too much & even if they won't take a return (often the seller has closed the shop or "taking a break")...again not too much out. But pre-owned pearls with photos of the actual necklace, excellent feedback and a seller who you can ask for extra photos from would be my idea. (And more $...I saw 1 South Seas...possibly authentic pre-owned for $5,000.). I also have several marked 14k or GF clasps that are very magnetic & maybe gold plated...but not solid gold nor gold filled.
