Are these real fresh water

I found these in my mother’s jewelry box I remember she once told me they were gifted to her. She got them maybe 10 years ago & it’s a 32” strand. Can anyone verify if they’re fresh water pearls? The color is pinkish & depending on the light they have a purplish tinge to them. Thanks in advance!

Yes, those are freshwater pearls.

They could use a gentle bath; grime has accumulated around the drill holes. I would also restring them as the thread/knots would be dirty as well; if it's silk, that would also weaken it, which would risk breakage.
