Hi Everyone,

My late Dad used to run a south sea pearl farm
in Buton island, in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia.
This pearls were part of his side project,
that he was planning to make some prayer beads sets,
but he passed away, and now I want to sell these pearls.

But I have no idea about their ideal price.
Also, are these Akoya or South Sea Pearl? Or a mix of them?
Because in some of their labels says "Akoya Natural".
But as far as I know, my Dad never worked on freshwater pearls farming.

I know that back in the late 80's / early 90's, he did Mabe pearls.
But I never heard him doing freshwater pearl farming.
Please kindly help me for the pricing range of these loose pearls.
Also maybe you guys have idea on where should I sell it?
Thank you so much.

-George-

Maybe you should start by trying to get contacts from any pearl farms in your area. Then think about trying to find a dealer to buy the whole lot from you. Try taking photos where they are not in direct light or sunshine and post again. It can be easier to tell type when they aren't blasted out by excess light. :)
