Unfortunately the photos are not the best and you have not given us any sizes...but if I had to go with a hunch these are saltwater cultured pearls of rather low quality (as seen by the nature and amount of imperfections)...they might be Akoya pearls but not really sure. Some seem to have damaged nacre spots (worn out) and are baroqueish shaped, not well matched so I believe these might be baroque Akoyas from the 1970s or 1980's or Chinese Akoya from the 2000s.

I agree that the pearls are meh...but that clasp is so pretty! It appears to be marked 14k, and it has a wonderful retro vibe to it. Honestly, I would ditch the pearls and save the clasp for a more fitting strand.

The best pearls could be used for a bracelet or other jewelry items too. Some have nice Orient.

Wow, that's a special clasp! The pearls are definitely Akoyas; I'm just restringing a vintage strand for a friend with those same blemishes. As Douglas mentioned, it may be possible to salvage enough pearls for a bracelet and put that gorgeous clasp on higher-quality pearls.
