What kind of cultured pearls are these?

Could you please help me identify these cultured pearls? The seller states they're cultured pearls but I'm not sure if they are freshwater or saltwater pearls. Thanks.

Cultured Pearl, 14k Yellow Gold Necklace
Composed of one-hundred sixteen round cultured pearls, each measuring approximately 7.0 to 6.5 mm, completed by a 14k yellow gold hook and box clasp forming a 31 inch necklace.
Gross weight: 47.5 grams

These would be akoya because of roundness, but not top quality, judging by the hazy reflections.

In the photo, unless I miscounted, there are 106 pearls. Therefore, at a minimum size of 6.5mm x 106 pearls, that is 689 mm or 27 1/8 inches. Add to that 108 knots and the clasp and rings and there are not too many, if any, 7mm pearls. I would think that they are even smaller than 6.5mm or the length of the necklace is longer.

I agree with Pattye on the type of pearls.
