Identification Help

Hello pearl people! I’m so happy to have found this forum and excited to see what I can learn here. I’ve only recently discovered my love of pearls and wear some nearly everyday. I’ve collected so many great pieces now.
So, I got this strand in an auction lot. They are quite different than all my other pearls and I hope someone can give me some helpful information. These are dirty, I haven’t cleaned them yet.
The strand is 46” with no clasp. It’s quite heavy at 150 grams. The pearls are an average of 10mm in size.
There are quite a few with imperfections, that I’ve included close ups of. Personally, I love the imperfections and will wear these often once they are cleaned.
Any help in identifying would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you! I guess they have imperfections due to being low quality? Regardless, I think they’re unique and beautiful. I’ll clean them tonight so I can wear them tomorrow.

Agree 100%. Normally I comment on pearls of natural or unusual origin. I just wanted to say your imagery is very good. Balanced light/background, good focus, mixed distances and appropriately selected targets. New members do well to post arrays like this.

Yes, they are lower quality. There are a lot of imperfections in the nacre, but the rings are not considered imperfections.
Still-- you can enjoy them! Most pearls have some imperfections, however minor.
