Hello! Since my father kindly agreed to make a little photosession of the necklace I am not sure about, I finally decided to ask! Ovals are a common shape for several types of pearls, so I mostly looked for blemishes and luster. The last one is not dull, I would say quite good, but not as excellent as my silver white SSP. And the blemishes strike me odd, because soft circles and pin pricks look like saltwater thing, while some discolorates circles remind me of FWP. Also, the blemish in the form of check mark is unusual to me.

Here it is with different light sources, my photos, obviously, at the end:
What do you think they are?

Hi there!
This is a mysterious necklace...would love to see it up close!
I believe this is a "mixed pearl" strand...I think -due to surface imperfections and markings- there are bot salt & freshwater pearls there.
Some pearls I say...Cfwp! And other remind me of light-colored Cortez or baby SSPs!

These are photos of two different necklaces, for comparison, correct? The smaller pearls look like freshwaters to me.

I thought it was just one necklace!
Must read more carefully next time.

There are two necklaces side-by-side, one is confirmed to be south sea (larger circled pearls) and I use it as reference. The one with the oval pearls a sort of mystery for me though! It confused me because it doesn't look like others my FW, and in the bright light it reminds me of this SS colour guide picture.

Correct! And if these are FW they have a very good luster then, in real life they tend to have this subsurface colorful sheen. I have read some Akoyas can do this trick, perhaps a strong overtoned FW as well?

Just reading this now...I think they look like freshwaters. That color is also common for freshwaters.
I see so many freshwaters at consignment shops that I am pretty familiar with them by now.

It seems they are then! Still they are very pretty to my eye, so no regrets :)
